Marcus Martinez is an Associate in the firm’s Phoenix office. He joined the firm in 2023 where he works with the firm’s general counsel, litigation, and insurance defense practices. Prior to joining the firm he spent last five years developing a practice made up of both Arizona and New Mexico community association clients. He has experience with assessment recovery, foreclosure, covenant enforcement, interpreting governing documents, and general counsel in community association law matters.
Marcus earned his law degree at Arizona Summit Law School and the University of Oregon School of Law. Prior to law school, he was a lecturer at the University of Colorado – Boulder. His background in teaching is on display in the numerous training seminars he puts on for community association clients. He continues to help educate board members, homeowners, and community managers on preferred community association law practices.
Marcus is from Santa Fe, New Mexico. He is licensed to practice law in Arizona and New Mexico. When he is not in the office, he enjoys spending time with his family. He is an avid sports fan of basketball, baseball, football, soccer, e-sports, and golf.
