Ellen’s practice primarily focuses on labor and employment law. In her employment practice, Ellen regularly advises employers regarding routine and complex employment issues, and defends employers before federal and state courts and administrative agencies such as the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, Arizona Civil Rights Division, Arizona Industrial Commission, and the Department of Labor against claims of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, FMLA, and wage and hour violations. In her labor relations practice, Ellen defends employers against unfair labor practice charges and counsels employers with respect to related NLRA issues. Ellen also conducts comprehensive trainings designed to avoid liability under state and federal anti-discrimination statutes, and works with employers to create and administer personnel policies and handbooks.
In her free time, Ellen enjoys spending time with her two girls (Mila and Bella), and their dog (Mochi).
