Edward D. O’Brien is an Associate in the Phoenix office of Carpenter, Hazlewood, Delgado & Bolen. His practice focuses on general counsel, litigation, and insurance defense. Ed represents community associations with more than nine years of experience in general counsel and litigation in Arizona Courts, state-wide. He has also represented homeowners and condominium/homeowner associations in construction defects cases. Ed has conducted approximately one hundred civil trials of varying complexity, and in various courts throughout Arizona.
Ed earned a Juris Doctorate with a certificate in criminal practice from University of Oregon School of Law, where he was an editor of the University of Oregon Journal of Environmental Law and Litigation. He graduated from Arizona State University, with a Bachelors’ Degrees in History and Political Science, with honors.
In his free time, Ed enjoys supporting ASU Athletics, camping, fishing, baseball at any level, reading biographies and fiction, and participating in his Church. He participates in various community volunteer activities, with a focus on aid to the homeless, and loves to spend time with his family and his pet dog.
