Mr. Day is a native Alabamian who has resided in Austin, Texas for the last 17 years. He received his Bachelor of Arts from Florida State University in 1999. He received his law degree from the University of Texas and was licensed to practice in the State of Texas in 2005.
Prior to attending law school, Mr. Day worked in the commercial construction industry in the roles of superintendent and project manager. This specialized knowledge and experience, obtained in the field, has proved to be invaluable to his representation of clients in construction disputes.
Mr. Day began his legal career in 2003, while attending the University of Texas School of Law. Since that time he has represented homeowners associations, business owners, commercial and residential property owners, general contractors, and subcontractors in a myriad of disputes. Mr. Day’s current practice also includes commercial, collections, consumer protection (DTPA), and real estate litigation.
Outside of his litigation practice, Mr. Day has also extensively represented clients in commercial real estate and business transactions. Mr. Day routinely advises clients with business entity formation, acquisitions and sales of commercial real estate, leasing, landlord-tenant matters, and business to business transactions.
In his free time, Mr. Day enjoys spending time with his family, playing golf, and making music.
