Alexandra Kurtyka is an associate in the firm’s Phoenix office. Alexandra joined the firm in 2024 where she works with the firm’s general counsel, litigation, and insurance defense practices. Prior to joining the firm, Alexandra had several years of extensive litigation experience handling civil litigation matters in a wide range of practice areas including but not limited to, real estate law, business law, and probate law. In addition, Alexandra has also worked for a mid-size premise liability law firm in Chicago, Illinois, and clerked for the Office of the Cook County State’s Attorney in Skokie, Illinois.
Alexandra was born and raised in the suburbs of Chicago. She earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Missouri in Columbia from their renowned Journalism School in 2015 and in 2019, went on to earn her Juris Doctorate Degree from DePaul University College of Law in Chicago. While a student, her legal studies focused primarily in Business Law. Due to her extensive education in that area, Alexandra was awarded a Business Law Certificate upon graduation. Outside of class, Alexandra participated in DePaul University’s Business Law Society as their Real Estate Chair Committee.
