Tim has practiced as a trial lawyer for fifteen years. His past work focused on the defense of commercial transportation, personal/catastrophic injury, employment discrimination, Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, and general insurance defense claims. He has represented homebuilders in construction defect matters against HOAs and third-party contractors, and defended clients in criminal defense matters. Tim defended and advised clients in all stages of litigation from the initial investigation of a claim through resolution. He has worked with clients and insurers to develop resolution strategies; then coordinated all aspects of litigation to resolve the claim efficiently. He has advised clients on how to navigate electronic document retention and production, social media policies and investigation, internet investigation, and future claim avoidance.
Through the Arizona State Bar Association, professional organizations, and CLE companies, Tim has presented talks to groups of clients and lawyers instructing how to defend commercial transportation and catastrophic injury and FDCPA claims, and has published compendia on changes in the law regarding cell phone use while driving.
